We use this recipe all the time because it’s just so easy! There is little to no prep work involved, clean up is super simple and it can cook while I’m working, running errands, etc. It’s also simple to change it up by taking this format and putting in different ingredients. For example, you can swap the black beans for white kidney beans and the salsa for marinara and you have a tasty Italian dish!
3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken
- 1lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1- 16oz can of black beans, drained
- 1- 16oz bottle of salsa
Pull out your slow-cooker and plug it in.
Add chicken, beans and salsa to the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
Serving suggestions: Serve with rice, roasted vegetables, or tortillas, or all serve with all 3!
