Creamy Green Smoothie

Winter is coming and that means holiday AND cold season is upon us. Let’s be real, we will all probably be consuming more treats that are not-so-nutrient dense and more alcohol, both of which don’t exactly support immune health. Add to that the fact that it’s also the season for the sniffles making it a great  idea to add something to our diets to help close the nutrient gap and support our immune system that’s about to be working overtime!

So, for today’s recipe we are featuring a creamy, nutrient packed, green smoothie. 

Ingredients:

(Makes 1 Serving) 

  • ½ Avocado
  • 50g Blueberries
  • 1 cup Spinach 
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • ½ Tablespoon Maple Syrup 
  • 1 scoop Whey Protein* (or protein of your choice)

Directions

Blend all ingredients together. Add ice as needed.
