  This week’s recipe is honestly a no-brainer. It’s a straight-forward cheeseburger recipe.  The point of this week’s recipe post is to shine a light on the fact that eating a burger WITH cheese AND a bun can 100% fit into a healthy & balanced lifestyle. Especially when it’s homemade and you can control the process & ingredients!   • 1# Lean Ground Beef*
  • 2% sliced cheese* 
  • Hamburger buns* 
  • Toppings of choice (Tomato Slices, Lettuce, Pickles, mustard, etc)*
  Directions
  1. Place ground beef in a large bowl and use your hands to combine well with seasonings of choice- one of our faves is McCormick’s Montreal Steak Seasoning.
  2. Separate into 4 equal size patties and place on grill or stove top pan. Cook until desired doneness.
  3. When the burger patties are just about done, add the cheese so it gets all melty and delicious.
  4. Place burger patty on bun and add your toppings.
  5. Enjoy!

  • Pair with the Corn Salad or Potato Salad recipes featured in our previous recipe blogs.
  • Serve with a side of sweet potato or regular fries – we really like the Alexia Brand found in the frozen food section.
